Brandy Rice, B.S., CSCS, CMT

Bio:

Brandy has always had a passion for health and wellness. She obtained her Bachelors of Science from Western Michigan University in Exercise Science and Psychology. Brandy has a background in dancing and was on the dance team while attending WMU. During her time in college Brandy started working with the strength and conditioning coaches, through this she decided to get certified as a Strength and Conditioning Association. After college Brandy attended Blue Heron Academy and became a Certified Massage Therapist. To add to her love of exercise Brandy became a certified Group Exercise Instructor through the American Fitness and Aerobics Associations. Since then Brandy has been certified in many disciplines in group exercise. Brandy works with a diverse clientele base. She has worked with Cancer patients, Diabetics, special need clients, as well as athletes and people just looking to improve their overall health. If you fall into one of these categories Brandy is ready to work with you and help you meet your goals.

Bio:

Growing up, Kattie was often viewed as the "Chubby" kid who hated to sweat, had no idea what it meant to eat healthy, and loved to sit in there bedroom and read. Much has changed since then. Kattie took up running and strength training in high school and graduated from college with a degree in physical education. She also earned certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health/Fitness Professional and from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Performance Enhancement Specialist. She began both personal training and racing triathlon at the age of 21. Since this time, Kattie has completed over 60 triathlons ranging in distance from sprint to the full Ironman. In addition to her racing, Kattie spreads her love for triathlon, endurance sports, and general fitness to as many individuals as she can. she thrives on helping individuals reach their fitness goals, whether it is weight loss, general body toning, or to simply increase physical fitness. She has coached a number of athletes and organized training groups ranging in experience from the very beginner to Ironman finishers. She currently teaches local triathlon swim classes, cycling classes, and running and triathlon specific programs in addition to developing individualized training programs.
